Magnesia Carbon Brick Introduction
 
Magnesia carbon refractory brick is a high melting point basic oxide magnesium oxide (melting point 2800 degreeC) a high melting point carbon material, magnesia carbon brick is difficult to be infiltrated by slag as a raw material, various non-oxide additives are added. A non-burning carbon composite refractory material combined with a carbonaceous binder. Magnesia carbon brick is mainly used for the lining of converter, AC arc furnace, DC arc furnace, slag line of ladle.

1. Magnesia carbon fire brick is mainly used for the furnace lining and tapping of steelmaking oxidation converter.
 
2. Magnesia carbon firebrick is mainly used for hot spot of high-power electric furnace wall, lining of refining furnace outside furnace, slag line of steel drum.
 
How to Improve Magnesia Cardon Brick Using life
 
The excellent performance of reractory magnesia carbon brick depends on the presence of carbon in the brick. The oxidation of carbon during its use tends to cause deterioration of the structure of the product, causing the slag to invade the brick along the gap, eroding the magnesium oxide particles and reducing the service life of the magnesia carbon brick. At present, the antioxidant resistance of magnesia carbon bricks is improved by adding antioxidants, and the using life of magnesia carbon bricks is improved.
