Corundum Mullite Bricks Introduction
Corundum mullite brick refers to refractory products made of high purity or purer raw materials. Corundum mullite refractory bricks refers to a high alumina refractory product composed of corundum and mullite main crystal phases. The refractory bricks made of mullite granules as aggregate has good thermal shock resistance, but the corrosion resistance is slightly poor. The corundum sand as the aggregate product has good corrosion resistance, but the thermal shock resistance is slightly poor.
Corundum Mullite Bricks Features
1.Uniform expansion
2.High load softening point
3.Low temperature creep value
4.Excellent thermal shock stability
5.High load softening temperature
6.High hardness, good chemical resistance
7. Low creep rate, good thermal shock resistance

Corundum Mullite Bricks Application
1.Corundum mullite bricks suitable for large and medium sized blast furnace bottom.
2.Corundum mullite refractory bricks suitable for hearth ceramic masonry and wind, iron, slag joint masonry.
3.Corundum mullite fire bricks suitable for glass furnace superstructure brick, material brick, cover plate, molded parts.
4.Corundum mullite fire bricks suitable for medium temperature carbon black reactor lining and other Thermal equipment lining.
Corundum Mullite Bricks Maufacturing Process
1.Synthetic mullite is used to make refractory corundum mullite brick. The mullite granules can be used as aggregate, α-Al2O3 powder is used as powder, fused or sintered corundum granules can be used as aggregate and synthetic mullite powder. For powder, Aggregate and powder are compounded according to a certain proportion and particle size grade. The sulfite pulp waste liquid is used as a binder, the materials of refractory corundum mullite bricks are fed in a certain order, fully mixed and evenly formed by a friction brick press or a hydraulic brick press. After the slab is dried, corundum mullite brick is fired at 1650-1750 °C.
2.Some use fused or sintered corundum sand as aggregate to have a proportion of mullite or corundum mullite fire bricks. The bauxite or clay mixed fine powder with high α-Al2O3 is used as a powder for batching bricks. The product obtained by this process has a slightly lower density, so the process of corundum mullite brick is not widely used.
