Zircon Brick Application

(1) Lining steel drum lining for degassing, stainless steel ladle lining, continuous casting steel lining, casting mouth turn, plug brick, sleeve brick and high temperature induction furnace lining.

(2) The material used for the paving brick or the back wall of the glass kiln and the feeding port can also be used for the serious part of the glass liquid.

(3) The bottom of aluminum smelting is mainly because zircon bricks have the property of being not eroded by metal chromium, aluminum oxide and their slag.

Zircon Brick Influence

Zircon brick can make zircon bricks from glass kiln, zircon bricks, ramming materials and castables for steel drums; Refractory zircon brick can be improved by adding to other materials, such as adding zircon sand to synthetic cordierite, which can broaden cordierite. Sintering range without affecting zircon fire brick thermal shock stability; adding zircon sand to high alumina bricks to produce anti-flaking high alumina bricks, greatly improving thermal shock stability; also for extraction.

Zircon is used for refractory materials (called zirconium refractories, such as zirconium corundum bricks, zirconium refractory fibers), foundry sand for casting (precision casting sand), precision enamelware, also for glass and metal (sponge) Zirconium) and zirconium compounds (zirconium dioxide, zirconium oxychloride, sodium zirconate, potassium fluorozirconate, zirconium sulfate, etc.) are produced.

Zircon bricks reacts with dolomite at high temperatures to form zirconium dioxide or zirconium oxide. Zirconium oxide is also a high quality refractory material, although its crystal form varies with temperature. Stable zirconium oxide also contains small amounts of oxides of magnesium, calcium, strontium or barium. The stable zirconium oxide has a melting point close to 2700. It is resistant to thermal shock and is less reactive than zircon in some metallurgical applications. Stable zirconium oxide has low thermal conductivity. In industrial zirconium oxide, the use of cerium oxide as a refractory is harmless.

Zircon Brick Resolve Resolution

1.The re-election method of zircon brick is mostly present in ilmenite, refractory zircon brick is often accompanied by heavy minerals such as hematite, chromite and garnet. Therefore, zircon enrichment is often used in the initial stage. If a shaker is used, the heavy minerals are separated from the gangue (quartz, feldspar, biotite) and then separated from other heavy minerals by other mineral processing methods.

2. Flotation method Flotation commonly used collectors are fatty acids, such as oleic acid, sodium oleate; pulp regulators are mainly soda, pH = 7 ~ 8; inhibitors are sodium silicate; activators are vulcanized Sodium and heavy metal salts such as zirconium chloride, ferric chloride, oxalic acid are also used to adjust the pulp to acidity, and amine or amine derivatives are used as collectors.

3.Electro-election method is to use conductive minerals to make conductive minerals such as ilmenite, hematite, chromite, cassiterite and rutile with zircon, monazite, garnet, apatite, etc. Non-conductive mineral separation. Before the electrification, pre-de-sludge classification, drying and heating and dosing treatment should be carried out.

4.Magnetic separation methods The minerals in heavy minerals are ilmenite, hematite, chromite, garnet, biotite, monazite. Zircon brick is a non-magnetic mineral or weak magnetic mineral (in some deposits) Zircon contains iron in the form of weak magnetic properties. The magnetic separation method is divided into dry type and wet type. Dry magnetic separation requires pretreatment of the selected materials by heating, drying, grading, before sorting. The wet magnetic field magnetic separator has a wide separation particle size and a lower particle size limit of 20 μm. Therefore, when the zircon grain size is fine, a wet magnetic separator is suitable.
